It would, but you know what, thinking about it again this morning you could be right π€
When you gave that number I was just very pleasantly surprised, that would mean about 20% of last seasons average attendance were now season ticket holders. It was also a (very roughly) up to 500% increase on 2-3 seasons back.
Too good to be true maybe?
I'm now wondering if the corporate and internal concession 'freebies' are in there too. I doubt we have that many sponsors who've put in so much they get a free ST but there will be some. There are of course also the 'lifers' from the Crowdfunder, but there are only 15 of them. But the big one could be the officials and players. They get in free and right down the age groups too. If they've classed those multi-game 'passes' as season tickets then that would write off a huge chunk of 262.
It's not the numbers I guess so much as how many paying customers are in that number and how many are 'giveaways'.
So I'll reign back my initial pleasant surprise until, hopefully, the club discloses the breakdown. It'll probably slip out in a podcast sometime... that tends to be where the more nerdy snippets of information get out beyond the central clique.

Season ticket sales "at an all time high" according to the club. But this stands to reason I guess. Good news nonetheless and Bally's number could be right.

Blimey! Could that actually be a simple numerical count of the ST applications/purchases? That would be a stratospheric number, which I struggle to imagine. Although, right now, I'm imagining it π

I bought season ticket 200 and my reference number was 0000004!
Think the total of 260ish is the actual amount sold. All guest tickets, complimentaries etc go in through the main gate on matchdays and although they do not pay they will count towards attendance. Season ticket holders enter via the turnstiles. Think the amount sold is a decent reflection on the board getting the pricing right, the club moving in the right direction and the bonus of 23 games for the price of 16ish for, what is, division 6 football.
The pricing for the friendlies is very fair as well so hopefully will attract decent crowds along to Woodside.

And then to announce home friendlies Β£5 for adults is a steal. Yes we probably see a lot faces we see once or twice. But canβt wait for the season to start.

OK, that's a change then, the email sent out this summer said they were all going to be delivered... by last week. I guess we'll all have to pop in on Thursday of Friday then or we'll be paying full price for Dover π

Thursday club night would be the obvious one for pick up.
While I too hoped for an earlier delivery, it's important to remember it is volunteers who are arranging this so a Thursday pick up, pint and watch of training it is!

Did the email happen to say when the club's opening times are for collecting our ST's on Thursday? I'm not sure what time to turn up.

No just that they were coming in on the 3rd and available on the 4th. I'll ask on Tuesday evening at the Wycombe game and post an update.
