Ebbsfleet United supporter here in peace. Can I take this opportunity to wish Worthing the very best of luck in your play-off semi-final on Sunday against Maidscum United. Nothing would give me greater pleasure in seeing them knocked out by your goodselves on Sunday afternoon. Many congratulations on getting a brilliant result this afternoon. Onto Braintree next and then hopefully next season we'll look forward to welcoming you to the Kuflink Stadium once again.

Rumours Rumours Rumours, I've also heard a rumour that we may be able to watch a game soon without full winter clothing. What will be, will be, but I am preferring to just concentrate on the now. I thought for the first 30 minutes we were excellent and Maidstone seemed to have no idea how to cope with our pace and movement, but when we went in front, it all seemed to change and for the last part of the 1st half and most of the second we were under the cosh. I don't think the strength of the wind we were kicking into in the 2nd half can be underestimated but we were definitely hanging on until yet another piece of magic between Joe and Ollie secured a priceless win. I can't pick a MOM because every player really put in a full shift. We now face a Braintree side who did the double over us and we have yet to score a goal against them this season. Its a battle between the league's top scorers against the league's best defence. What will be will be, but wow what a season we are having. The only downside to all of this is the uncertainty with regards to players and management for next season, whether it be NLS or NL. However, what a day today was !!

I'm confident that if we do go up we 'could' keep the majority of the squad!! Cash has played at that level and not found success, Joe Felix is unproven at a step up, as is Ollie and Joel! If we go up then I reckon those guys may well stay and prove themselves, this club has a heavier weighting than we realise!! They may well stay, but my point was essentially about money. Can Worthing afford the wages which might be being offered to these lads is my question? They're all paid well enough here from what I understand, but if other clubs offer them appreciably more than we can, it's likely the players will go. And that's my expectation, because if they're being offered more money to play elsewhere at Step 1, then they have no need to "stay and prove themselves" at that level with us.

We've all got our worries, to a greater or lesser degree, about what lies ahead. But literally no-one has suggested we shouldn't go up Bally. 90/120/120(+pens) minutes of football will decide our league next season and what will be will be 😎 My comment was more about losing players and rebuilding. Going into that league will be challenging for a full time outfit maintaining their squad (e.g Ebbsfleet), let alone having to rebuild at a price.

You might've well stayed down here for the week 😄 Because of course we rode our luck so much yesterday everyone needs to do EXACTLY the same next week... same timings, same pants, same beer, same route to the ground etc 😉

There is an argument that, as it's a Monday not a Sunday, everything must be changed by the superstitious amongst us. So different route over, different pub, different beer; definitely different clothes, even different seat!

Alright, don't spoil the mood 🤣 Made me chuckle... it's hardly the San Siro is it? (No offense to the Ebbsfleet supporter). Best of luck on Monday and then hopefully we'll look forward to welcoming you to the LNER for the first time.

Have just watched the interview with Elokobi and what a humble guy he is!! Managers at the very top of the game could take alot from his attitude and how you approach things, no sour grapes, just gets on with it!
