Paxman has signed for Ramsgate, left a sinking ship and joined one full of plunder... part time football but probably on the same £1000 a week he was rumored to be on at Borough!! Appears to follow the £££ signs which I can't blame him for, but hardly the best footballing experiences, no? Really can’t understand that move! But then again if the money rumour is true you cant blame him. Part time but getting paid the same as full time. Can’t blame him really. But like to think he also wants to play at the highest level possible. May be a stop gap till next season? |

I've seen many teams (including Ramsgate) this season across Steps 2,3 and 4 and in my opinion the levels are closer than perhaps they should be. I haven't seen any side worse than Eastbourne Borough though to be perfectly honest! Remember, Ramsgate, Cray Valley and Sheppey all had considerable FA Cup success. Paxman will be only one of several NLS quality players at Ramsgate. |

Certainly deserved the recall, has played well. At least it is in an area of the pitch where we have several alternatives. Great opportunity for someone!

As much as it could be that Swindon want to use him, they had seemingly washed their hands. It could also be that a third party club have approached Swindon with a cash bid. This sadly comes with the territory of loans. Good luck to the lad, he's been great but I don't think that's the last we've ever seen of him. |

Bo**cks, easily our most influential player and someone we simply won't be able to replace!! The goals from Midfield and assists will be a big loss!
To be fair to Ricky, if he still wants to push on and play pro football then by coming to us for half a season then he hasn't done himself any harm at all!

Not so very long ago we were observing how we were incredibly overloaded with numbers in midfield.
I'm sure it was observed more than once that Ricky and Danny Cashman were a bit 'samey' playing in the same line-up.
One door closes, another opens. Maybe this development, entirely out of our hands, will be the opportunity for Danny to flourish a bit more than he has so far.
