I think this is a great addition, he knows how we play, knows the system and I was disappointed when he left! He's a good ball playing defender and a welcome addition once again!

He never left and came back before!? He was our longest serving player when he departed in 2021 but I'm pretty certain he didn't depart in the period from when he signed in 2017! |

Great news this, easily the classiest defender we had when he left.
At the time I was under the impression it was Hinsh's choice but reading the article it was more like Barks move to Horsham this summer... a grown up honest discussion between a player who wanted to play and a manager who couldn't guarantee a regular start.
We need cover anyway, we've been criminally short in defence all season. But if Alfie coming back can free up Joel for right wingback then its a double win 👍🏻👍🏻

It's good to see some defensive cover in too. He is the best candidate.
Hinsh always seems be in touch with a few of his ex players so that is a good sign 👍
