Why on earth would EBFC sell a striker to relegation rivals unless they've already given up (or run out of money) ?

He is making a career out of going back to his old clubs. However I really doubt it if we will ever see him again in Worthing shirt. And to be really honest not really sure I would like him back.

May be he asked for a transfer? Think we will never know but going from 1 club that might go down to another that might go down is a bit weird

Havant also saw Keiran Phillips get recalled by Kidderminster Harriers so clearly they were desperate for someone up top, given Callums form i wouldn't say he's the person to get them out of it...

Transfermarkt - LinkLooks like a decent signing with good pedigree for a young player. Looks like linking up with Felix down the right could cause some damage to some opposition teams. 👍

It's also significant to see us tempting a first team regular away from a play-off rival... they may be 9th but are only 6 behind us with a game in hand.
Interesting that Hinsh chose to disclose his tactical thinking behind the signing too. A comment on the Saints forum says he looked like their "answer on the left" but he's played right back and right mid too. He's clearly seen something specific.

Might do him good if he plays 3/4 consecutive matches. I think it was only a matter of time . He just hasn't clicked for us yet The 'yet' is the key word there. It would be easy to leave it off and wash our hands of him... but he's contracted beyond this season so he will be back. For me the problem is totally in his head than his legs so a good run of games needs to reactivate the 'engaged switch' not just match sharpness. He'll need to come back as the player we thought we'd signed, not the player we've seen... so far! He made a big thing of praising Hinsh and Nathan when he signed. He said he had other offers, implied they were better offers, but he needed to hear from clubs that they were going to be patient and allow his injury the proper chance to recover... and we have more than given him that. Its not like he was totally broken when we signed him either, that was when he was at Maidstone. He made his comeback appearance in pre-season at Horsham and was used very sporadically to nurse him back to full fitness. But over six months has passed since then, fitness is not now the issue, it hasn't been for quite a while. The reciprocal response when people are patient, respectful and supportive of you is to have a burning debt of gratitude, to want to run through walls to repay that debt... and this is where he hasn't kept his side of the deal. His laconic 'pass to me, I'm the star' style would be fine if, when he got the ball, he did something brilliant with it. The kindest thing I can say about his workrate is he's 'economical with his movement'. Compare and contrast with Nick Wheeler when he's out left... always moving, always looking for ball with a drop back or a diagonal run. There are times when we're attacking Elmo's end that up in the stand we can't even see Luque is on the pitch, so static and touchline hugging is his positioning. He will come back, we're stuck with his contract, so for me what needs to come out of this loan is not just some match sharpness, but several cans of 'man the **** up' need to be consumed. We can't and won't carry a passenger, if he wants a shot at a regular starting place he has to work like all the other players are working. As a senior player with undoubted ability he needs to be a shining example to the young squad, not a broody, lazy presence. To paraphrase Monty Python he has to learn that he's not the messiah and that so far he's just been a very naughty boy 😉 Looking at yesterday's match report from AFC Totton v Gosport though, whilst he's present in a photo his name doesn't get a single mention... and frankly that doesn't surprise me. Utmost respect to anyone battling back from that injury at his age. His signing was a gamble that Maidstone weren't prepared to take. The problem isn't with him. I wish him all the best.

I really hope he has a good loan spell, get lots of playing time. And gets his confidence back. You never know what might happen them. Some players send on loan earlier this season have come back and are doing well. But in the end there is only one person who can determine the outcome of this loan!
