Yes, good luck to them. However, a concern would be that when Crane was let go because he wasn't guaranteed game time, I suspect both Young and Jones would have been pencilled in as regular starters. We could end up losing them both. Would we have benefitted from keeping Crane? We may regret that one.

I can't confirm yay or nay but just an observation from today's 1st and 2nd half line ups at Selsey the two keepers are Aaron Relf and Toby Lyndon who are both home grown lads. Nice to see 'J Jones' on the 2nd half team sheet too... although Jones isn't exactly a rare surname! |

Jalen played the 2nd half today.
Couple of trailists also featured, a left back and a midfielder who I was told featured for Burgess Hill.
The new goalkeeper is still in Portugal with Brighton at their pre season camp.
No idea when it will be announced that he will be joining.

Couple of trailists also featured, a left back and a midfielder who I was told featured for Burgess Hill. Cameron Tutt - Left back who got released from Brighton recently. U18 - Looked assured on the ball and was good holding the line. Few dodgy tackles & was high on occasions but not bad for 45min run out. Marvin Armstrong - CM, more a defensive player. Reminded me alot of a Kante type, tracked back and was quick and sharp in the tackle. Started some counter attacks too - Sign him up. (My only thought on Marvin is we have good depth at that position already, could it spell the end for Joe Clarke if so - He was ill at the weekend and Billy Barker had a hip flexor problem) |
