I'm tired of this silly social media game already. So we have to assume they are all leaving, unless told otherwise! Every year is a 'start at zero' except for those on a contract. Money, minutes, pathways, prestige... everyone has their own priorities. Unfortunately recruitment is complex with more going on behind the scenes (and behind backs) with clubs, players and agents trying to their best deal. We've been burned by other clubs' early socials before so hold tight. While it's good to know the movers and shakers, the club are the ones who have to balance it all out. It's unrealistic to expect players looking for more of anything to settle on an offer by June 1st. A more incoherent statement I read have not! I was teasing btw!

Second signing of the day Nicky Wheeler. Class signing that one.

Dorking are apparently going to train in the mornings, rather than the evenings, and yet remain part-time? linkHave heard we are looking at doing the same He's pretty upfront about the change to Dorking's training times making it difficult for him to stay there. With Aarran also re-signing, it seems fairly evident that Worthing will NOT be training in the mornings next season.

Must admit that I'm not sure what the benefit of doing mornings over evenings is unless you're gonna go full time. Anyone with a 9-5 is gonna find that difficult to impossible so why bother?

Eastbourne Borough also intending to train during the day during the week which could yet work in Worthing’s favour 😉

Agreed Ian. Two potentials inbound from EB that I can see.

Not sure if it works. Look at Havant. They train in the mornings and it didn’t really help them. In my view if the club wants to train in the mornings then they should go full time. Otherwise I can’t see any benefits.

Still haven’t worked out how to reply properly, but Bally i’d take Hammond for midfield and Leur up top. Need to give Ollie some help, he has carried our front line for 2 seasons now, Jake back will help hopefully.

I was just about to say Shiloh is the one that sticks out, 13 goals from Midfield last season!

A 21 year old striker, recently released by Braintree, has randomly liked a six week old tweet from the WFC Youth twitter account...

If we look at the data from last season we were in the bottom 5 for goals conceded, and lost 34 pts from a winning position. Seems clear where we need to strengthen to push on and secure promotion. Who’s out there that could make a difference?? Tough challenge.

Getting a big and quick centre back who's good with their feet is a must. We've got to be on the countdown to hearing something about Joe Rye. He was excellent last year and certainly is ready for a full time, league opportunity.
