So, like it or not this is the situation we find ourselves in! So let's start the ball rolling on this one...
Who do we want as the new boss at the helm, who are you backing or who's the rank outsider? I've heard a few names banded around so I will fire them out.
Chris Agutter - Hastings Boss, Hinsh Number 2 at Hastings
Dom Di Paola - Horsham Boss
Andrew Crofts - Brighton First Team Coach
Shannon Ruth - Brighton U21 Coach
Dean Hammond
Arran Racine
Anyone else with names then fire them out, be interesting to see who comes closest or who hears that rumour from Dave down the road who knows Dean Cox's cousin!

Let's see how Aaron gets on for the rest of the season and take it from there. If he does well would there be any need for wholesale changes?

Possession is nine tenths of the law, so personally I'm not looking beyond Aarran, Deano and Buddy for now.
Applications, even approaches if they're being pro-active, can all go on quietly in the background. But right now, for me anyway, its more important to coalesce behind the incumbents.

For me If I was Barry/George and Co
I would look at Ross Jenkins of Oxford City Proven to work wonders on small budget / Young and upcoming manager/ Plays attacking on the grass football. Should be easy to get they are heading down most likely NLN, lives in Watford so if he's duties were First Team only would work well to commute, plus he wont demand mega money as has limited exp to back that up.
I would add someone like Hammond to coaching set up as assistant, and use his Brighton contacts to attract the Brighton youth who wont cut it in the football league right away and need time to develop with our system.

Like that list a lot. Sadly I think Ruth/Crofts would be out our budget if they're at Brighton 1st team. Chris Dicker may not be though and would be a great shout. Otherwise, I totally agree on Agutter. Seems to play good football and was spoken of highly by Gary in a recent podcast posted here. Glad to see us give Arran, Buddy and Dean Hammond a go though. Really glad to have Buddy back, him and Arran really know this club. And we can finally thank Dean for running that marathon to raise funds without having played for Worthing before!

I think we might be pleasantly surprised at who would want the job!

Dom has already ruled himself out, it’s a full time job so with existing work and family commitments it’s a non starter.
I know Charlie Oatway is keen to get back into management,

There are always plenty of wannabe managers around who will already have sent their application in, if other vacancies are anything to go by.

Think Oatway is a no from me! Just not sure he suits the club in all honesty

Age?
Modern/progressive enough?
One of the criteria must surely be style of play and willingness to integrate new ideas.
We don't need a Hinsh clone per se, but the entire squad has been schooled a certain way, especially those who've come through our system.
Any reinvention to old school football would surely be a disaster as some/most of our lads have never played it.
